My Story

I have always been creative, and always loved animals, spending hours as a child either drawing, volunteering at the rspca or riding horses! My career led me down a different path and at 17 I trained as a nurse.  For the next 20 years my husband and I travelled the globe, living in New York City, Wales, Hong Kong and finally England. 

Having my children during these years of travel led me to working in a variety of jobs but I felt there was still something missing and nothing quite brought me the same joy as when developing my design and creativity, in particular when taking photographs.

My first experience of photography began as a child, watching my father developing negatives in his makeshift dark room in our kitchen!  Living on a beautiful small holding in the Cotswolds during the 2020 lockdown and while recovering from Covid, the opportunity to slow down my pace of life allowed me to develop my love for photographing animals and nature. 

These first pictures, while only on iPhone, showed me what it is possible to create if you only slow down enough to capture it.  And, having lost our gorgeous ginger tom Zeus, plus our much loved 17-year-old labradoodle Lilly, the importance of the photographs we have of them, and the lasting memories become even more special.

The decision to start up my own Photography Business seemed a natural step, and choosing to photograph animals even more so, having never had a period of my life without a cat, dog, or horse in tow!  As a self-taught photographer, I am constantly learning and continuing to develop my style and creativity. 

The joy in creating lasting memories of our furry friends and capturing those special moments between a pet and their human is priceless.  I hope to have the opportunity and privilege to share in that unique relationship between you and your pet, to create those lasting memories you will cherish forever.
